Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the ‘Responsible Person' must ensure one is in place and kept up to date.

There is no fixed legal expiry date. The law requires your assessment to stay ‘suitable and sufficient' at all times. For most Gloucester premises that means an annual review, with a full reassessment every one to two years depending on risk.
